完成规定年限的训练后，可向以RCP ( Royal College of Physicians)为代表的各专业皇家学会申请会员考试(即成为某一专科的主治医师)，如MRCP(Member of the Royal College of Physicians)，MRCS(Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons)等等。
